The Bones Part 1

This is a true story about the time I found human remains in a bin bag when I was a teenager. 

At least, I thought it was. It was one of those stories you tell about something that happened to you when you were a teenager that feels somehow unreal now, over twenty years later. Going back and trying to work out how true this story was, how much had been embellished in the telling over the years began to reveal a bigger and longer story that stretched beyond a long-haired teenager, perhaps almost 1400 years into the past.
